Consider Him...Risen.
"But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." - Matt. 28:5-6
Dear brothers and sisters, did any of you ever feel like your failure disqualified you from God's purpose? Or maybe you know someone who is feeling this way? We are all called to help one another and those who feel like they have no purpose anymore. Romans 8:11 says, "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you. Because Jesus came back, we can also have OUR COMEBACK!
The harder we fall, with His help the higher we should bounce. Just like Peter did. He went from swearing his loyalty to Jesus to denying Him three times in one night. It was Peter’s terrible and very bad failure. Maybe you've had a moment like that...a mistake so painful that you've replayed it in your mind over and over.
But the resurrection tells us that failure is not the end of the story.
What if your greatest regret could become your greatest testimony? When Jesus rose, He didn't avoid Peter. He found him. And He did something unforgettable. He transformed Peter's failure to a charcoal fire and turned it into a moment of healing. Why? Because Jesus doesn't just forgive our sins; He transforms the places where we fell.
How would your life change if you believed God wanted to restore you, and not replace you?
Remember that three times Peter said that he didn’t know Jesus. Three times Jesus asked him, "Do you love Me?" With each answer, Jesus restored Peter's identity and purpose. That's the heart of the Gospel not just redemption from sin, but resurrection into a new creation.
KEY QUESTION: Are you ready to let Jesus turn your setback into a comeback trough the power of His Spirit?
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to you right now!
Resurrection isn't just an event, it's a promise. And that promise says that your story isn’t over yet. Further down, Paul is reminding us in Romans 8:15-17 that the Spirit that we received is not a spirit that makes us slaves again and causes us to fear. The Spirit that we have makes us God’s chosen children. And with that Spirit we cry out, 'Abba, Father'. And the Spirit Himself speaks to our spirits and makes us sure that we are truly God’s children. If we are God’s children, we will get the blessings God has for His people. He will give us all that he has given Christ.
As Paul said, "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" (Rom. 8:32)
But we also must suffer like Christ suffered. Then we will be able to share in His glory. Take a moment to identify an area in your life that still feels like failure still has the same pressure on you.
Is it a broken relationship? A missed opportunity? A lingering habit you thought you had conquered? If this speaks to you start fresh this week, invite Jesus to replace that space with His presence that brings joy, comfort, and peace.
He doesn't come to condemn you but to renew you completely. He also desires to use this resurrection reality to help others who are in danger of losing their hope and freedom in Christ. Therefore, let us keep considering and reconsidering Jesus as RISEN...and live in His resurrection power today!
Love you all my brothers and sisters,

- Failure is not final.
- Mistakes are not fatal.
- And delays are not denials.
